Principles of Operation

The Clean Hands® Sanitary Door Opener is recommended for pull-open, restroom exit doors; however, it should not be installed where the swing of a door could reach a person using a lavatory, towel dispenser or other restroom equipment.

To operate an Opener, a person places one's forearm in a vertical position behind the front portion of the Opener and pulls.

The hands never touch the Opener and remain clean, fresh and sanitary.

As the door swings open, the Opener rotates and moves away thereby naturally releasing the person's arm.

The Opener's edges are rounded and its face is made large for a safe design.

SAFE! Designed to release arm if door is suddenly pushed open.

EXTENSIVE FIELD-TESTING OF THE SANITARY DOOR OPENER HAS PROVEN ITS EASY OPERATION AND SAFE DESIGN
